A couple of years ago in Boy Scouts I learned how to make a stove out of a #10 can, a tuna fish can, some cardboard, some wax, and some tools to cut and punch holes in the #10 can. What you do is you take your #10 can and you punch holes on the side of it to release smoke off the top (I used a punch and hammer) and you make a door type hole in the can to access the burner (tin snips are the best) . To make the burner you take your cardboard, cut it with scissors into strips, and coil it into your tuna fish can. Then you melt your wax and pour it on the coiled cardboard inside your tuna fish can. I cooked bacon, eggs, sausages, pancakes and hamburgers. you can also control the heat of the burner by making a giant spoon out of tin foil and placing part of it over the burner.

Survive!!

I'm starting this blog because I'm interested in learning survival skills, being in Boy Scouts and my mother having the same interest. I am starting to acquire some skills, but sadly, I suffer from memory loss and need to write all these things down. I will also be putting some links to interesting survival websites on my blog.
